ODDfest is a multidisciplinary and multi-venue gathering for the creative industries in the heart of Helsinki.

By day: talks, workshops, showcases and unexpected conversations.
By night: live music, performances, installations and club culture taking over the venues.

Multidisciplinary by default

With its signature mix of performances, installations, screenings, showcases, workshops and nightlife, ODDfest explores creativity across four interconnected forms.

Sound—music and sonic culture: live music, DJ sets, sound installations, spoken word, voice-based works, and experimental sonic experiences.

Screen—film, AV, and digital storytelling: short films, documentaries, experimental cinema, XR, gaming, and screen-based installations.

Body—performing arts, dance, and theatre: contemporary dance and theatre, movement-based works, participatory performances, and embodied practices.

Form—visual art, design, and fashion: avant-garde fashion, product and spatial design, architecture, crafts, paintings, and installations.

Taking over multiple venues

Bio Rex—Theater for focus, sensory experiences, and deeper connection — from immersive installations and intimate talks to experimental sound journeys — and Terrace for music flowing from morning to sunset.

Tavastia—Three stages and a showcase area combining games, AI, digital art, workshops, and boundary-breaking live music in one immersive environment.

Vanha Ylioppilastalo—Nine spaces dedicated to human connection through performances, workshops, talks, and community experiences by day — transforming into a celebration of live music and experimental club culture by night.

Kamppi Chapel—Two-day somatic laboratory and workshops hosted by a diverse collection of experts and artists approaching topics from AI to money and from feminism to our shared spiritual futures.

Lasipalatsi Inneryard—An open and free main stage dedicated to showcasing new and emerging talent across music and performing arts.
