Uneton48 is Finland’s legendary 48-hour film competition, where teams write, shoot, and edit a short film in just two sleepless days. Anyone can take part — from anywhere in the world.

Since 2008, nearly 2,000 short films have been born from this creative chaos, bringing together thousands of filmmakers, from industry veterans to total newcomers. Every single entry gets its moment on the big screen with a proper cinema premiere. And it all culminates in the Final Gala — a cult-status celebration where a jury of film pros selects their favorites.

For ODDfest, Uneton48’s Chair Pete Lipponen is diving into the archives to curate a special showcase of the ODDest short films ever created through the competition.
