Uneton48 (FI)

Uneton48 is a Finnish filmmaking competition where teams write, shoot, and edit a short film in just 48 ‘sleepless’ hours. Anyone can take part, from anywhere in the world.

Since 2008, nearly 2,000 films have been created in Uneton48 challenges, activating thousands of filmmakers, from industry pros to total beginners. Every film gets a proper movie theater premiere. Every single film gets its moment on the big screen with a proper cinema premiere. Then comes the Final Gala — a cult-status event where a handpicked jury of film industry influencers select their favorites.

For ODDfest, Uneton48’s Chair Pete Lipponen is diving into the archives to screen some of the ODDest creations born from this beautiful chaos.
