Siamäk Nahkian (FI)
Siamäk Naghian is the CEO of Genelec, the world-renowned Finnish company at the forefront of professional audio technology. Born in Iran in 1961, his early life was marked by revolution and war before he moved to Finland in 1986 in search of education and a new beginning. Despite language and cultural barriers, he earned a Doctor of Science in Technology from Aalto University and went on to play a key role in developing mobile networks at Nokia.
Since taking over as Genelec’s CEO in 2011, Naghian has helped turn the company into a global benchmark in sustainable, high-end audio innovation. His journey—from the battlefields of Iran to leading one of Finland’s most respected tech companies—is a testament to resilience, radical transformation, and the power of sound.
