The Genelec x ODDfest Immersive Sound Installation isn’t just a listening experience—it’s a portal into the future of audio.

Housed in a custom-built space in the heart of Helsinki, this installation offers a rare opportunity to step inside a fully immersive 360° sound environment—powered by Genelec’s precision-calibrated 7.1.4 Atmos system, the same kind used in top film studios, theaters, and experimental audio labs.

Created for both festival-goers and sound creators, the installation lets you experience sound in a completely new dimension—where it moves around you, through you, and reshapes how you think about music, storytelling, and performance.

For a few visionary artists, this is also a chance to take over the space.
ODDfest and Genelec are inviting 2–4 creators to develop original spatial sound works—from generative compositions and audio theater to immersive soundscapes for film, games, or VR. Selected by a jury of curators and audio experts, these works will be showcased live during the festival weekend.

Whether you’re a listener or a maker, what’s inside this installation isn’t just sound.
It’s sculpture. It’s story. It’s a new stage for creative audio.
